I bought this Slow Cooker because of its large capacity and esthetically pleasing design. I have tried out 4 or 5 new recipies in it and I am very pleased. Clean up is a breeze. The unit performs well. The touch programing pad is easy to read and the unit wipes up with a damp sponge. I am Very satisfied with my purchase.

La seule mijoteuse dont on peut régler indépendamment la durée et la chaleur (les autres, c'est soit long et chaud, soit court et très chaud). Son seul bémol est d'�tre un peu plus volumineuse que les autres marques. Mais �a en vaut la peine. Cordon rétractable automatique, caché en-dessous de la mijoteuse. Les poignées restent froides.

This is my 3rd slow cooker. I decided on Cuisinart because of the reputation plus I have other Cuisinart appliances that have not given me one bit of trouble. This cooker does an excellent job and the switch to warm is very helpful. The digital read out is very easy to see and use. It cleans easily and the cord storage is awesome .. wish they would put that on all things!
I don't know why this appliance had bad reviews because I am not seeing any reason for it. Maybe the model is improved since? No complaints and just a big thumbs up from me :)
UPdate: I just cooked chili from scratch ... soaked 9 different kinds of beans then put the chili together going from high setting to low to finish and it switched to warm and kept it that way as promised. This unit went flawlessly from one setting to the next and the chili is perfect.
