This is a great pressure cooker and also works as a slow cooker. It's very easy to use (which is good, because the enclosed manual and recipe book are not always clear - but I won't downgrade it for that). It's fast and silent, such a change from the old style rocker cooker I used to use some years ago. It appears well made and looks very sharp. Best of all is the food quality - cooked food is flavourful, texture is excellent and the pieces maintain their shape. It's been fun learning how to get the most out of the pot, from beans to soups and stocks.

One problem with traditional pressure cookers is that one has to manually adjust the temperature to regulate the pressure. In other words, you have to stand by and watch your cooking.

This electronic pressure cooker solves that problems gracefully. You press a button and you walk away. An hour later, your food is ready.

And if you have a couple pieces of wet towels, you can safely release the pressure any time you want and terminate the cooking as long as you unplug it first.

This cooker is very quiet. No steaming uncontrollably. No hissing. No spraying steam to worry about. Just cook and walk away.

The timer is very helpful. Need to go out? No problem. Set the timer. When you return, your food is ready and kept warm for you.

Very easy to clean.

I have been quite happy with this purchase after my previous pressure pot broke down only two months later after I bought it. This one, the Instant Pot, has been very convenient and reliable. I like the convenient menu and the versatility. And, one of the most important reasons why I chose this one is that it has the timer function which is most useful for people who want to throw food in the previous night so that it would be ready in the morning. So, in short, everything has been perfect so far. Just one thing, it's not small. If there are just two or three people in the family, you might find it a bit big. I was not used to its size at the beginning. But now I'm happy that it's big enough when we get a few guests here.

This slow cooker may be a bit more expensive than what you can find in the same size but I feel it is worth the money. This is the smallest slow cooker that I had found with a programmable timer function. At 3.5 quarts (around 3.3 liters) I've found that it's great for preparing a meal for 4 or a single meal with enough left overs to stretch a few days. The recipes I've used take 1 - 2 lbs of meat plus additional ingredients and the cooker handles them well and is usually filled half way or almost full. (I have read that this is a consideration as ideally the cooker should at least be half full for good cooking, so this cooker is great for smaller homes.) With a bit of prep, you can have things ready to throw in the pot in the morning and have it ready for when you get home. Great for when you want to avoid dinner prep when you are too tired after a day's work. The timer is a countdown timer that begins when you turn the unit on and can be programmed up to 24 hours. Although I have a larger 6 quart slow cooker, sometimes it's just too large. For slow cookers to function properly they must be at least 1/2 to 2/3rds full. So I started hunting for a smaller one - a nice in-between size. The key feature crucial to my purchase is that it had to have a countdown digital timer. The Cuisinart PSC-350C has the features I want - a countdown digital timer ranging from 00.00 to 24:00 hrs., a glass lid, removable ceramic pot, Low/High/Simmer/Warm function, auto switch to Warm up to 8-hrs., 3-yr warranty, plus a 68-page operating manual & cookbook (English & French). Price-wise, ordering through Amazon was substantially cheaper than buying it directly from the shops here in Vancouver. Delivery service was very prompt - delivered 1 week after ordering. This is the perfect teapot.

The handle is really planned well...ergonomic and never gets hot.

The spout is perfect...this teapot does not dribble.

And the mesh strainer is perfect too...goes all the way to the bottom of the teapot, removes easily, and cleans up to brand new in the dishwasher.

I highly recommend this teapotl...just wish that it was available in more sizes.

Bought this teapot based on the good reviews and the good price! It is great - looks nice, dripless pouring. I also chose this because I have tile floors in my kitchen and am tired of broken teapot lids! It is perfect for 4 decent mugs of tea if filled all the way. Some people have mentioned that they wish it was bigger; I think it would be too heavy when filled if it was any bigger.

Bought this for my tea drinking boyfriend. We used to have a european double walled insulated glass one, but it broke and we couldnt find one like it here in Canada. Since then we have been through many a bodum and other brands. All were disappointments. The tea would get cold fairly fast, the mesh (whether plastic, metal or glass) didnt work well, hard to clean and didnt look too spectacular. After giving it much thought I ordered this. It is perfect. It looks beautiful. Has a great finish and style. Ergonomically designed handle remains cool. The lid and strainer fit perfectly, and it does NOT drip. It is actually a drip free spout. Its easy to clean too, and the tea does stay hot for longer. The size is perfect for a couple. The mesh of teh strainer is able to handle both the BOP and larger leaves. The only downside is that the perfect teapot has resulted in overconsumption of tea in our household.
